Editorial board, reviewers, and publisher
Four distinct groups run this journal. This page states who they are and, precisely, what each one decides.
Editor-in-Chief
One named scholar. Holds final authority over every acceptance, rejection, correction, and retraction. Appointed by the publisher but not directed by it.
Editorial board
Named scholars who advise on scope, policy, and standards, and who may serve as handling editors. Advisory to the Editor-in-Chief; they do not vote on decisions outside manuscripts they handle.
Peer reviewers
Independent experts invited per manuscript. Their assessments are confidential and advisory: a reviewer recommends, an editor decides. Identities are not published.
Publisher
The legally responsible entity. Funds, hosts, and distributes the journal, and holds no role in the assessment or acceptance of any manuscript.
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief has not yet been announced. Until an appointment is published here, editorial correspondence is handled by the editorial office at editorial@qcaij.com. No name is listed on this page before the appointment is confirmed.
Associate and handling editors
A handling editor runs one manuscript through review and recommends a decision to the Editor-in-Chief.

Editorial board
Board members are being appointed. This page lists only scholars who have agreed in writing to serve; it will not display a name before then. Enquiries about board service: editorial@qcaij.com.
Peer reviewers
Review model: Double-anonymized peer review. Author identities are withheld from reviewers and reviewer identities are withheld from authors.
Reviewers are invited for a single manuscript on the basis of subject expertise and absence of conflicting interest. A minimum of 2 independent reviews is sought before a decision on a research article. Reviewers recommend; they do not decide, and a recommendation does not bind the editor.
Reviewer identities are confidential and are not published with articles. Where reviewers consent, the journal may publish an annual acknowledgement list.
